The graphs below show the overall decreases in emissions of certain pollutants at Quemetco over the last 20 years.

In 2014, Rule 1420.1 was amended to add arsenic, benzene, and 1,3 butadiene emission limits with a compliance date of January 1, 2015. Since the benzene emission limits became effective, emissions have decreased.
